I think the season is over?

Well were gearing up for Black Friday and my phone recent ally died on me leading me to get a burner but that's beside the point 

This morning I was let out really early and I got home with a little time to glance at my greenhouses here's what I found:

And the big one 

I've been so busy working that I haven't even had a chance to cheak on my greenhouses! Some of those peppers are DEF dead! So time to start planning for planting and seeing what I can and can't do with them there we will see how it goes there 

As such I also have to hope everyone survives outside (the ones I want to rather) if not my mom has said she WILL buy new strawberries now come season she will deny it no doubt because that's what she does! 

On the plus side it looks like the bay dragonfruit and aloe are all still alive so something should survive atleast (oh and my garlic chives too lol!) 

Some bad news guys

Def have plants dying in the greenhouses have atleast a few I need to pull right now one I saw had that white mold on it so that's no good there 

But the worst isn't even garden related --I was in an accident yesterday with my Kia soul whole chain I think that led to it from poor sleep because att had to call me at noon (3am as I work 3rd and was working that night) so poor sleep before work to shopping after work and stopping an extra place to see if they had something that my co-worker wanted was like noon or after when the accident happened 

Start with the nice first this is the undamaged side aka how my car *should* look (2010 Kia soul + I would DEF reccomend a soul to anyone looking for a good baby SUV I love mine) 

There's one damage shot the tyres only turned from pulling into the driveway tho it may look exaggerated

At the present the car is sitting in our garage fully inaccessible to me which is kinda annoying me because I could take it to get some quotes I'm likely to just have Dj fix it tho but I wanna see what outhers think too (grew up with Dj) 

The outher car had a popped tyre and a bit more then I had that was a 90s model crysler minivan so I don't think it will atleast cost that much to fix and as it was a beater anyway (ok all minivans are in my mind but I'm bias and just go with the SUV anyway get a better car! --but this one I'm judging by being old but by no means a collectors car!) a new tyre and maby a few body pops as well as a touch of paint and a tyre is what? A hundred bucks anyway?! 

So this is gonna be a tough season but I still plan on getting something nice for atleast some of the people I work with for x-mas and I know some but not outhers lol will be fun defo lol! 

After thought: my assessment of my car: 1 duck tape will NOT fix it! That's the most depressing bit to me -- continuing on will likely need a lot of body work to hammer the side in right will likely need a new bumper (front) there are noises when the wheels go too far right I don't know the cause of this ATM but may later and when opening and closing the door there's noises because of the body damage I could take a wild stab at the cost 

But there's no way I believe it took 1.2k to buff out those scratches 

Especially when those 

Aka those are only 5-700 to fix (one thing on the car is 500 another is 700) but that's our quote from Dj on that and the scuffed that was at fault (tho insurance decided we were still wtf on that!) was a 2013 ford something sedan ours is a 2009 corolla sport there

Ok so I know winters coming --how is it I know that? No it's not the falling leaves or that it's simply that this area is FREEZING all the time! My greenhouses are in a similar yet more exposed area so I'm hoping they are still doing ok with the temps ATM it looks like everyone is doing ok tho the strawberries should be inside right now (aka protected not growing!) and the goji should be coming in soon (protected)

Yea I should harvest that cherry bomb I also have datils with a little red that could be harvested as well 

If I didn't know better id think the bay really liked it in there! I pulled the walking onions cause they seemed dead to me and I think the lemon grass could be "going" too hopefully it comes back before it's too late

Another update: greenhouses

Ok so I figured was about a week so I needed to cheak in on the greenhouses and it seems the light only worked for a couple days so I moved it so it would get more light (I just think it's cool) we still have some aphids and general crap I'm trying to manage them somehow hoping I am lol I've also got art bell on and somehow it's spooking me (I'm into that strange stuff)

There's the little as you can see some are dying some seem semi-ok and such some are not so well 

And flash on --I def need to replant and water those mints! They've defo rooted! Also the lemon grass isn't doing as well as was so I'm trying to keep in a better spot for it (I mean I could buy more but I'd rather not if I don't need to!) 

The larger one as you can see planted onions are doing well (gotta plant the outher onion sets that are in there so I don't kill them while I'm waiting to plant them) 

I'm hoping for the best I know Harry (robo hamster aka littlest monster) needs some water like ASAP! And I'm gonna be working for like the next 5 days straight which may be fun (thurs fri sat sun and mon--sun and mon have there extra fun to them as well! It's a good thing I love my job!) I'm defo excited even if it's possibly at the cost of my plants but it's also so stupid cold in this part of the house too!  

New plant and excitement

We went to a gravedigging thing on sat and as typical I won some stuff (I am known very lucky) so as a door prize I chose an aloe plant 

Actually that aloe plant (pic from the day) it had about 7 there many pups that looked like they were doing pretty well there was another 2 big but baby baby pups this was shy a couple pups but I liked the light as well (which I'm keeping in my little greenhouse ATM and it works pretty well too) 

The plant is presently sitting in my large greenhouse and with the house getting so cold I can only hope everyone does well!  

I also got a kids kit and a box with some books which I've sence given to my mom --the kids kit had s'mores stuff (I love them!) paper aka lined and construction some markers and hilighters DVDs books --the bin (that I gave mom) and maby a few more things said worth over 50 bucks that one I put in for the fun of it lol 

Hopefully I can get more pics soon for everyone to see that I see most look pretty well tho I'm unsure on the onion sets 

Then later like on sun I get to run the store by myself for 2 hours and ATM it looks like the following Monday to the Sunday and the Sunday after I may be alone as well we lost our extra person that I truly was wondering how it'd affect me/my life/my pay that sort of thing in the last month I had 2 huge cheaks then a tiny one and a normal one and I was worried about the tiny ones continuing where I couldn't afford my car (about 2 normal cheaks) the schedule can be changed but I'm super excited to see myself alone at the store I know there dead days and not much is apt to happen which is def a plus still it's exciting to me! And the boss (new compared to when I started) knows via me telling I felt I was hired with the intent I'd run the store myself some day and I've been trying to work to that point as well lol 

Some greenhouse cleanup

Ok so more things are dying/dead and there's still plenty of bugs around as well so we will see how that goes *note* I did douse the greenhouses with TONS of sevin! Edibles galore tons of sevin to get rid of the bugs! 

The little greenhouse is pretty much in tact 

Peppers are looking pretty happy for the most part tho I should have pulled the fruit from them before bringing them in they like some water but not soaking and that will be fun to learn the happy balance for them (the Thai didn't do well with too much water) 

The bays and goji are doing pretty well as are the rest it looks like they will be alive for atleast a bit longer yay! Lol 

And here's the top stuff nothing yet from the goji seeds so I pulled them up and mixed them with the dirt a bit better if they need light to germ or that they'll get varying degrees now lol 

Some onion sets the trimmed walking onions mint bay and such 

The big one had a lot more done to it and it really got super-doused with the sevin! 

More mints my rose and some more bay 

Mints bays lemon grass walking onions and my unknown fruit trees --as you can see I really cleaned that one out! I'm thinking next cheak I'll fert these some I've added fert to the little one but first is getting the bugs under control/gone! Which I think I might be getting near! Also I wanna try bringing in some mints too before they die for the year think I'll stick them in a Gatorade bottle like I did the outher thing in the small greenhouse 

I also should start trying to plan what I'll grow next year as well if stuff fails or that I know the tomatillos are apt to be back they went INSANE! And I don't think I'll try to stuff stuff as much as I did this year we got a lot less harvest then I expected I don't know if it was the super crowding lack of reg watering or a mix of the both (with my having a 3rd shift job) but we will see I also plan on adding drainage to the new pot I don't know what I'll put in it just yet next year tho but I'm certain I'll over buy again as I tend to tho not to the extreme I did this year lol I also think I'll get more plants from millaegers especially if I can get a job there! That would be perfect for me lol 

Well have fun guys I'll get on some outher fun stuff another time ATM wanna get a little sleep before I have to work tonight first night alone with the new girl off training and she is cooking tho I've allready offered to help her as needed/possible so we will see and I have no qualms helping on my break 

Pulled some peppers in

As I said lol I braught in some of my peppers I just hope I didn't wait too long with them i also got some stevia that I took cuttings of some stevia 

Also have some boxwood basil that I clipped and am trying to dry for the seeds
