Seedlings outside

At the present it's cold enough I can see my breath on occasion but everyone that looks to have survived looks really happy ATM and it looks like going outside was just what the corn needed! Hopefully it's better outside tomorra and I can get to digging up the dandelions and planting the seedlings

Seedlings and re-organise

Many of the seedlings are starting to show signs of there first true leaves coming up they are pretty clear to see on the tomatoes

I also decided to take a bug infested flat outside they were out all night then it decided to rain they were not previously hardened at all so I really have no clue on there status (onions corn and a few outher things) I'm hoping they survived the night and are now plenty hardened

I'm also still working on my re-organise the tomatoes are now marked to which I think I have enough for trading for now I have plenty more to do tho (working on peppers have the rest to do)

Another update

I'm eagerly awaiting the first true leaves on my seedlings --I realise some I'll have way too many of for me to plant in my little space (some of the tomatoes ATM) I can prolly manage 2 or 3 of the same thing but not much more in my garden so if they do well I may trade or sell them the Basil's I think I can manage lol same for the mints (licorace is another there's a bit of)

You can also see the fig cuttings there I think there's one cutting that's completely failing (after a point would trim and put it in a bag but no planting room ATM and itd be upside-down) and a branch on a cutting that I think could be failing but under a week and they are starting to root --well lol I'm impressed with them

Then there you can see the rest of my seedlings (ok by now there more like plants) there's namely cat grass corn and onions but there's also a watermelon rheubarb Canteloupe and possibly even a pepper on there --id think these guys could be planted outside by now but I'm not entirely certain so I'm keeping them inside under the lights for now lol

Fig and seedling update

Just a quick little update lol seedlings more are coming up none have true leaves yet but it looks like most are up

As for the figs it looks like most are starting to root so I've taken the plastic offa the top and started misting some the buds look brown on some but I'll leave them lol as they may turn green

I plan on having them as indoor plants atleast for now (theres a LOT too) I think soon enough I'll need some new containers and I may use vases from goodwill cause lol there cheap --im thinking I wanna get 3-5 gallon or abouts as perminate containers for the figs as inside can't allow drainage so I'll have to add in something smaller that will let me know and keep the cats away lol

Figs?

Ok so yesterday I got some fig cuttings that im now trying to root there's celeste gold celeste brown turkey and black mission im prolly doing it the wrong way lol I've got them covered in my self-watering seed tray and I'm misting them a bit to keep humidity up lol Romour is it will be atleast a month till I see roots (so by the time I plant the seedlings out in June the figs should be ready for there own containers lol and I'll need to buy some containers lol)

Above are some pics the first is from just after they were planted the rest are from today --you may even be able to see some of my seedlings coming up as well? They all have there first leaves ATM no true leaves have formed but hopefully the seeds will show them soon lol --as I think I've said the figs are in the self-watering seed tray so lol that should help watering --and actually it dosent create much of any condensation like the tray I have over the heating mat (that creates TONS of condensation)

Seedlings coming up yay!

Looks like some good few of my seedlings are starting to come up which will mean I need to get a small fan for them in the morning or lol find some fan soon I'm gonna I think wait till more seeds come up to do that before then tho I think I'll have the dome tops up in hopes nothing gets too leggy

Another planting

First off wish me luck lol

I did get a self watering burpee 72 pack tray yesterday and I'm planting both it and another tray I'm proubly 1/3 done right now later when I have some left to plant outside I'll list what's there I know there are some I'm planning on buying from millaegers as well (it's my favourite garden store in the area it's about 10 miles away but they I think are the best I've been to closer ones and just haven't been impressed so lol I'll prolly plug them a few times)

ATM I have a few peppers a tomato or 2 some onion sets and some Basil's planted I'm doing more herbs and such as well as some edibles in general I doubt I'll have anything that's just to look pretty after last year

I am still looking for suggestions on what to grow this year (I lol never fully decide till its planting time lol)
