Some of you may or may not know my birthday is June 4th (dont worry about it lol) so my mom and uncle both got me stuff
My mom got me some orchids (ok 2 that I really don't know anything about caring for) they look pretty and are now under the lights with the goji and aloe (in addition to some giftcards and that)
My uncle got me a 25 buck card for a garden store that I like never go to only if we're in the area do I go there and at *most* that's once a year it's not even an annual thing to go there it's more "oh let's see what they have/say" and we go we normally go somewhere straight down the road (about 10 miles) from us they have superb quality and the people know there stuff
So Anywho with that 25 bucks I got (I'll try to include prices)
1 blueberry (sprout really--fruits year 2 or 3) reg 6 clearance 2
1 grape (same *exact* deal/price as blueberry)
1 planter about 4" ceramic white bottom red on top 5 bucks
3 indoor houseplants (planted in above planter) 2 ea or 3/5 (asked on a site about what they are I know the green/white as a ficus they say Outherwise "Yellow-spotted Croton (Codiaeum aucubifolium) Dracaena marginata (Madagascar dragontree) & I'm about 100% sure again, that that is a variety of Peperomia." so hopefully it's enough to help if someone's looking for them?) they are presently sitting outside I'm letting them root/establish here where it looks they are getting some sun and some shade just cause I want them happy when I bring them in (and I need to get a saucer/plate to put under them inside)
An apple mint plant to go into the mint pot later 2-3 bucks
A cauldron planter (that I'm still trying to figure what to put in any suggestions? Thinking making it a witches garden with herbs inside) reg 10 clearance 3 bucks
All that and I *still* have like 2 bucks left!
So on to the pics? I think it's about time lol --I should say I did water first lol
There's my window box planter you may not be able to see everything just yet but of what I know
Back row: catgrass catnip basil lemon verabena
Middle row: apple mint stevia seedling another seedling (first possibly parsley 2nd possibly dill?) another seedling (possibly lemongrass?) overlapping lemon verabena (not rooted there) garlic (grown as chives) chocolate mint
Front row: Greek oregano more possible chive seedlings 2 rosemary plants chives and thyme seedlings I think
There are still plenty more that need to come up and everyone there needs to establish as well but as you can see I may be able to offer up some of what are now seedlings later (if I have as many as it looks of them)
There's the planter I got it and plants and planted for my birthday it's just got what's left of cheap potting soil in there (reference above for what plants could be)
There's the cauldron planter (again dont know what to put in it looking for suggestions) and making cameo appearances is the planter above and my Nikon d40 with the 70-300 macro/zoom lens that I absolutely love!
One of my corn pots it also has luffa in it and some weeds lol
Some of the figs I'm rooting and under it is cilantro
More cillantro (3 pots can be seen) and my onions and lookie still more weeds lol there are red yellow and white onions in those pots and I thought it'd be a nice little experiment baught as sets at the grocer only paid a quarter for like all of them! Some could be about ready to harvest but I think I'm gonna wait a bit longer --and before you ask yes I have grown onions in the shade before at uncles house they will grow in the shade just lol not quickly
More of the figs (the outher pot) and another cilantro lol
My outher corn planter this one also has watermelon (and weeds) in it
Yet another time I cant think of there name lol I'm waiting for these seeds to be ready like the columbine seeds then I'll have them avalable (both are planned)
The tall ones the rasberry the close short is the blueberry the far short is the grapes
There are also carrot seedlings in with the rasberry
There's the 4 mini rose plants we got at the grocer the 2 on the left I was talked into they have only been outside sence we got them the 2 on the right were my moms and were inside you can see what kinda thumb she has (I tryied to care for them a little)
Lilacs and a columbine on top (still don't know fate of the lilacs) on the bottom petunias like hell and lol "wine and cheese mix" from some plant that I don't yet know (have the tag in a planter if y'all want me to look)
My apple mint (awaiting transplant into the mint pot)
Lettuces
Flower pot for mom (she is the one to go all bonkers over flowers)
Pepper planter --in no order sweet bananna mucho nacho and garden salsa also has carrot seeds
Lantana and petunia are only ones I know off the top of my head if you wanna know anything else I can try to find the tag
Tomato planter has possible coyote tomato seedlings lettuce yellow brandy wine abe lincoln Roma and yellow cherry tomatoes (the last 2 are largest baught at farmers market) there *should* also be some basil in there somewhere
Another lantana/petunia/who knows what planters (you can kinda see there are tags in this one)
Another pepper planter this one has apple pepper jalapeño pepper a non(yet) verigated fish pepper some pepper seedlings and carrot seedlings (weeds too)
Another flower planter of my moms about all I recall ATM are poppies marigold and some snappers (snapdragons) there's prolly plenty more in there including a few weeds
The mint planter as you can see there are some seedlings coming up what I know ATM is (12-around the clock) fruitasia mojito cotton candy and ky colonel mints the seedlings have yet to show much of themselves to what's where (also later sprinkled all in about the middle lol)
