The storm before and after

So we got a storm while I was sleeping (I do love 3rd shift!) which had some annoying "costs" to my garden I also got the pic of some roots too with that experiment

So before cleanup:

The raspberry got knocked over

Some weed blown east

Goji knocked over plants all over (and plastic pots in my window box) plants blown east

Moms salsa garden knocked over- plants blown east

And after the cleanup:

You can still see plants blown east

Still look kinda blown east also the cherry tomato you see ripening needs work as the stalk snapped (I'm just gonna wrap it with support and my aaa med tape I think)

Then on to the rest of the garden?

My winter sewing experiment

The herb pot (proubly needs a drain)

And

I'm surprised how well the tomatoes and peppers survived! They look PERFECT!

And here are the roots from that sand experiment

All I did was put beach sand in a container (no drainage) added water and cuttings then light fert after a bit this is as of today like 2-3 weeks later (a guess) you can get the exact timing looking for my post about it --i WILL be using this method again! And into the future! I may even experiment with starting seeds in warmed sand this winter (ill likely use the exact same sand because I don't know if ill get to the beach in/by winter)
