What an eventful day!

First I am woken by a cat moaning with a clatter like with it quick enough I figure she is stuck to a glue trap (have I mentioned I hate those things?!) then I can't get back to sleep so I decide I wanna fill my tyres while we're on our way out well Mom decides 6am is too early for that! "It makes too much noise" or some such we agree once we get to the first stop I will

WELL at the first stop the first tyre cap is on so well I have to pull out plyers to twist yup the caps ruined a couple ask if I need help its a nice area that's certain I was able to get all but 1 and on that one when I was pulling the nozzle from the compressor out I would think its the stem but they say it's the tpms that came out completely! Caused the tyre to go flat so we had to get that sorted luckily I had my copy of the aaa card with they let my use and renew from my moms card all that she was there so not too much a loss when the guy got there (quickest EVER! 45 min is normal was like 5 min!) she took carson for a walk and after he swapped to the doughnut and dropped the car kinda violently (it was jacked well I may be slightly exaggerating it didn't bounce or that) when we went to put the flat tyre in the trunk jen FREAKED and ran out the back of the car luckily she ran right over twards carson and CRAPNAV I was kinda stunned he said he had the tyre so I grabbed a leash I knew was right there and went to get her hooked to it -- it was also a fun project to get my doughnut out! Had to move everything to get under to yup lol even rigged some 550 to act like another set of hands--but after hooking jen with where the car was she refused to get in I truly think she is afraid of the doughnut Maby even the reg tyre too so I ended up walking her a couple blocks away at which she was fine getting in the car (I woulda hated to have to left her there she is a special pup to me truly one of a kind)

Just got kicks here's a couple pics

There's the flat

How one of the tyres normally look (yes me in shadow no not pretty lol) and my compressor (multipack thing lol) next to it after only 2 tyres it said 95% battery started 100%

What there calling the tpms that one didn't have a cover on so I don't know if that contributed to the break or not

And an example of how the tyres look in talking to one of the many people I called (get there later) I know the car is a 2010 I think it was sold late in 09 so they were pretty new it had 60k miles on it when I got it after it sat for 8 months including winter they didn't do anything with the timing belt at all! They also called rutine maintence a waste of money with that being said is it a suprise the tyres were splintery like that? Cracked the first time I got a look is it any SUPRISE they didn't know the xm was active the whole time it sat on there lot?! It's at about 82k miles now I don't think 22k miles will ruin it that much but if you want to know what we did you can see --anywho the data I was able to work out is those tyres are from 2011 which means the previous owner swapped them somewhat quickly after a year or 2

Fun? Still following? Kinda? After aaa changed the tyre we went to a wallmart that was nearby luckily had a tyre and lube they were the one to call it a tpms and give some info we did a little pricing there found some fun stuff like a 10 buck chance that didn't work but we're still helpful --after pricing tyres because given the condition new are in order anyway the first call was to the Kia dealer where I learned new tyres have silica in them which is great in the summer but in the winter it gets hard and dosent work well at all I feel the more I talk to and work with them the more I like them I call 5-7 total places find out Thursday tyres are going on sale someplace also that I have better then normal rating requirements for tyres most are "t" my car needs "h" and that's as much as I get there lol

Back to wallmart? They have a flat repair thing for 10 bucks they try to fix the stem and it looked like they attempted to put a new sensor or something like it on at that time the doughnuts speed limit (50-60 mph which is normal for doughnuts) was bugging my mom so we elected to try the flat repair as far as I saw 10 bucks to try to get something back it turned out it failed so what he did was put a normal non tpms stem in so the tyre would atleast hold air let us get where we were going and such just car says a tpms is missing which I think doing that much no charge was really nice of them! I still have the sensor as well atm it's in with the car

Excitement enough? For me? Nope! Another thing that happened was while at the pet store I was trying to get jen to pop her head on the counter look up there she wouldn't so much then suddenly she decided to jump up there I noticed she was like halfway up the jump onto the counter I pulled back on the leash she came back down me Mom and lady at register there were direct witnesses to it were kinda laughing the person at the register says that it was awesome and commented that jen didn't even look phased by it --well given her day (the tyre change) I would hope that would be the least of her concerns lol even now what I recall kinda funny esp as I know that counter was nothing for her to clear

And that's only the 2 biggest things! Lol

After getting home I decided to take a look at my seedlings and looks like some are going hit/miss its been about the last month ive been hearing that we would clean stuff to move them "tomorrow" but I said im not foolish enough to think they will all survive however that DOSENT stop me from hoping they do

And in the event they EVER do get moved im gonna throw superhots/peppers in there they will likely spend there first year of life inside Id they grow with poor conditions they should be more tolerant of them my goji has had full sun and tons of loves its inside and only barely limping along but once our average last frost or saying a week lows above 45 then my big pots are going back outside where they "belong"

Well that's the plans for now with the garden stuffs
