Odd winter

So it's been mostly dry this winter has snowed some but not even a 5th of what I'd expect it's just confusing and driving me crazy but that seems the trend lately 

So we went back to millagers to do another couple fae gardens a while back (I've been busy with work and I should be doing this Monday but I'm an hour early) 

I also ended up with a fresh lemon cutting and I've been wanting to grow a lemon for a while it appears to be doing pretty good in its little water-home thing 

Here's both the cuttings just after I got them by now the tropical looks better but the lemons leaves are drying up some but it looks like a root is starting to come out from the bottom so I'm not giving up hope till its dry and brown 

The stuff in it is paper towel when I got them I threw in a dog poop bag with damp paper towel and tied the top to try to preserve then I cut the tip from the bottom so it would be a fresh cut into water

Above one of the new ones and a good point to talk to people that pretty verigated up front? No water on it it prefers water from the sides
